«Zhenghe Shou Mei» («Longevity eyebrows from Zhenghe») is a white tea from Fujian province, spring harvest of 2017. The spring shoots of the variety Da Ye Zhong (Large Leaf) were used as raw materials.
In appearance: large, flat, greenish-brown leaves with thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, herbaceous. The liquor is transparent with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of brewed tea is light and fresh, floral-herbaceous, with hints of mint, flaxseed, raspberry leaf, green apple, and berries. The aroma is tender, floral. The taste is refined, a bit spicy, with delicate berry sourness, minty coolness, and refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (70-80°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
«Zhenghe Shou Mei» is a right choice for the summer heat – refined, refreshing and cheering.
