Teacake was made from leaves and buds, collected and processed in the Balunshan mountains (prefecture Menghai) in 2015. Pressed by order of MoyChay.ru company in 2016.
357 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers. The aroma of dry tea is discreet, nutty. The infusion has a rich brown hue.
The brewed tea has a matured, soft, nutty bouquet with notes of rye cookies, wood resins and autumn leaves. The taste is rich, smooth, slightly tart, sweetish, with sourness of dried berries. The fragrance is deep and warm, nutty-balsamic. The aftertaste is pleasant, velvety.
Preparation: brew with boiling hot water (95-100°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot for Ripe Pu'er made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. Make first infusion for 10-15 seconds, after just rinse water through teapot or gaiwan brewing longer each next infusion as required. Brew this way 9-10 times.
Bulanshan Shu Cha is fine choice for everyday tea time. It is friendly, quite soft and smooth, and it does not require some special tea brewing skills. The tea has warming and light tonic effect. It will be particularly relevant in the daytime.
