Shu Puer «Crane's Tea» was made from the raw materials harvested in Mengsong Mountains (Menghai County, Xishuangbanna).
In appearance: 500-g brick of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers into brown leaves with thin cuttings and reddish tips. The aroma is restrained, woody with an accent of dried fruits. The infusion is dark reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody, with notes nuts, autumnal fall and dried fruits. The aroma is viscous and warm, complex, nutty-and-woody with hints of dried fruits. The taste is velvety and smooth, medium density, sweetish, with a slight bitterness of cocoa beans, fruity sourness and spicy nuances.
Steep the tea in hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-8 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.
Shu Puer «Crane's Tea» is a good choice for daily tea breaks: versatile, soft and very aromatic. The effect is warming, moderately tonic.
