«Gong Ting» («Royal») from Ning'er County, harvest 2013 (press 2019).
100 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers into small, reddish and brown flagella of twisted tips. The aroma is restrained, nutty. The infusion is reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, nutty, with pastry and woody notes. The aroma is deep and warm, nutty. The taste is full-bodied, velvety, with a slight woody tartness and soft finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
«Gong Ting» is a great choice for daily tea breaks. In the morning it will help to wake up and join the stream of a new day, and in the evening - to exhale everything superfluous and relax.
