«Big trees of Nannuo Mountains» was compressed by special order of the company Mojchay.ru in March 2018. As raw materials, the first spring shoots (March 2018) of large tea trees of Mount Nanno, located on the border of Jinghong and Menghai districts, were used. It is one of the oldest tea districts, known since the Han dynasty.
In appearance: the tea cake of 357 grams, composed of greenish-brown, flagellum twisted leaves with thin cuttings and silver-beige, silky tips. The aroma is intensive, herbaceous with fruity hint. The infusion is transparent with white grapes hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is fresh, herbaceous, with balsamic, fruity and nutty notes. The aroma is deep, fruity-herbaceous. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, oily, sweetish, with light fruity sourness, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (75-95°C, the lower the temperature, the softer the taste) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9-10 times.
«Big trees of Nannuo Mountains» is an excellent choice as everyday-tea: a multifaceted and juicy taste, a tangible toning effect. It has high potential for aging and development.
