«Raw Puer from Bangdong» was compressed by the order of the Moychay company in 2018 in a small tea farm situated in Bangdong Mountains (Lincang County, North-West tea region) from the autumn shoots of big tea trees (harvest 2016).
357 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers into large leaves of brown colour, thin stems and silvery buds. The aroma is intensive, fruity-herbaceous. The infusion is transparent, yellow grapes colour.
The ready-made tea has vivid, multifaceted bouquet with woody, balsamic, fruity, floral and mushroom notes. The aroma is high, herbal-floral with fruity accent. The taste is full-bodied and juicy, tart a bit, with delicate spicy bitterness, berry sourness and sappy finish.
Brew tea with hot water (80-95°C, the lower the temperature, the softer the taste) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
