This original raw puer “Purple Delight” is produced by the Da Ye Factory near Jinggu village (Mengla district). The tea trees grow in the natural environment in the forest and they never have been cut and chemical treated. Most of them have been growing since XIX century. The raw material was harvested for the Qin Ming Celebration (Chinese Traditional The Purity and Clarity Spring Party on 02/04/2014) and was compressed by “MoyChay” special order in 12/01/2015.
The dry cha bing weights 100 gr., it is dense and easily crushed into thin silver buds and dark purple twisted leaves. The aroma of dry tea is gentle and herbal. The clear liquor is green with a fenny tint.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright, herbal with nuances of roasted chestnut. The taste opens gradually. At the beginning of the tea time it is very mild and light, oily and sweetish, in the middle rich astringency appears which is typical for young raw puers. It brings light anemia of receptors. The aroma is gentle, fruity and herbal. The aftertaste is very rich and long lasting.
Zi Juan is brewed with 95-100°С water in the yixing teapot for raw puers or in the ceramic gaiwan. Take 6-7 gr for 120ml volume vessel. Infuse 8-10 seconds for the first time, then shed tea with water, make quick infusions and gradually increase the infusion time. Brew this way 9-10 times.
This original raw puer is very strong, spirited. It has bright, rich taste and long lasting meditative effect. It relaxes the body efficiently, calms the mind and brings feelings to the harmony. It has a strong tonic effect and changes the perception of the world. We don’t recommend making a strong concentrated drink.
