Aged Sheng Puer « Zhong Cha Da Hong Yin» («Big Red Seal») made by CNNP company in 1996 (Taiwanese storage).
380-grams teacake of medium density, easily divided into medium-sized, brown, twisted leaves and buds with thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, woody with fruity hints. The infusion is transparent, with an amber shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature and multifaceted, woody with fruity, balsamic, autumnal and spicy notes. The aroma is deep, fruity-balsamic. The taste is rich and mellow, a bit tart, with fruity sourness and spicy nuances, transforming into lingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 3-5 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 12 times.
Aged Sheng Puer «Zhong Cha Da Hong Yin» is an excellent example of aged Puer for sophisticated connoisseurs.
