"Green Seal" made in 2003 for CNNP ("Chinese National Company for Import and Export of Natural Products"). During the state monopoly on tea production in the middle of the twentieth century, the products of all the large Yunnan tea factories were decorated with the hieroglyph "Cha" surrounded by a ring of eight hieroglyphs "Zhong" named “Zhong Cha”. The very first was of red colour, so it called "Hong Yin" ("Red Seal"). Following the "Red Seal" appeared "Green Seal" and "Yellow Seal". In the 80’s tea factories gained independence, but continued to produce limited "vintage" pancakes for CNNP, which are in demand among amateurs.

In appearance: 411 g teacake. The aroma is mature, fruity. The infusion is transparent with chestnut shade.

The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, fruity-balsamic, with notes of dried apricots and prunes, exotic wood resins and mint, oak moss and citrus. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity. The taste is rich and soft, refined, with sweetness of dried fruits, refreshing lemon acidity and lingering finish.

Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 15 times.

«Green Seal» is an excellent example of aged Puer for gourmets and connoisseurs – multifaceted and refined, retaining the brightness of colors and the power of «cha chi».

Exceptional tea, long lasting and sublime. Works well in silence and in conversation.
These quality teas are fun as they are almost bitter, almost sweet,almost astringent and almost smooth and soft. They are all this and none at the same time- showing .the best of all these sensations not the opposite and it varies round/infusion to infusion as great tea does. We had 6 or 7 first day and then served it the next day for just as many. with no loss of spirit and power.

Достаточно сложно описать вкусовую гамму этого произведения искусства. В очередной раз смею подчеркнуть, что такой чай необходимо пить когда... ну, совсем устал. Жизнь в красках этого шэна выглядит намного лучше, да и надолго после чаепития с ним. Чай помогает остановиться и немного привести в порядок мысли. Касательно вкуса - особенно поразили яркие вспышки сладости у основания языка, как у шоколада с взрывающейся карамелью. Глубокие, хвойно-смолистые ностальгические ароматы из пиалы и чахая, сладкая мятность в послевкусии. Вкус сильный, мощный, округлый, меняющийся в проливах. И мой личный респект этому шэну за толерантность к воде - заваривается почти на всем хорошо, исключение - ну уж совсем плохая вода, вроде водопроводной неочищенной.

Очень мощно меняет состояние. Буквально с первой пиалы зарождается и сгущается внутренняя тишина. Чуть клонит в сон. Время перестает существовать. Позже возникает вникновение: все становится таким плавным и интересным, внимание цепляется за детали - причудливый узор мельчайших трещинок на каменной чабани, тонкости узора на пиале, глубина звука глюкофона.
Чай выдерживает очень много проливов и постепенно меняется: от кофейно-пряно-шоколадного к древесно-смолисто-цитрусовому. И наконец, появляется яблочная сладость, гладкая и округлая, как шарик рыжего агата. Аромат - глубокий, теплый, с нотками кленовых листьев, засушенных в старой книге и влажной еловой хвои.

Это мой первый лао шэн, не кидайтесь в меня помидорами=)
Первые проливы были обычные, будто пью хороший шу.
Но следующие проливы ( начиная с 6-ого) меня удивили. Появился сладкий вкус вяленого банана в шоколадной глазури.
Я считаю, что этот шэн обязательно надо попробовать!
