Description

"Sheng from Mengku" is manufactured in Mengku Shuangjiang Tea Factory (Lincang County) in 2005. Taiwanese storage.

In appearance: 400 g teacake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers into large lengthwise twisted brown leaves and buds with thin stems. The aroma is restrained, woody-balsamic. The infusion is transparent, light chestnut colour.

The brewed tea has a mature, multifaceted bouquet with notes of wood and wild herbs, dried fruits and camphor. The aroma is deep, complex, fruity-balsamic. The taste is smooth and refined, sweetish, with delicate berry acidity, transforming into sappy finish.

Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot for Raw Puer made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 1 second), increasing exposure time for each subsequent brewing, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.

Однозначно варить! При заваривании часто возникает ощущение, что чего-то не хватает.
В варке получается достаточно густым, наполненным, с хорошим балансом вкуса и аромата, с хорошим балансом зрелости и молодости.

Насыщенный, цвета Бордо настой выдает глубокий, но низкий аромат с наполненной чашки: в аромате лекарственные травы, моченые яблоки, красная слива и компот (узвар?) из чернослива. Аромат сочный, гладкий, достаточно долгий с явным преобразованием букета со временем.

Вкус густой, сладкий, прозрачный, с легкой сливово-яблочной кислинкой и приятной вязкостью в послевкусии.

Состояние хорошее, гармоничное, скорее тонизирует нежели расслабляет, на самом же деле дает ощущению уюта, некой легкости, свежести и бодрости.

Хороший чай! Но лучше всего варить на огне!

Я не очень сильно разбираюсь в чае, для меня чай либо вкусный либо невкусный. Вот этот чай мне понравился, однако я не почувствовал, что он эксклюзивный.. обычный блин от менку, только старый, то есть не горчит. Ну может что то еще во вкусе и добавилось, хотя я не почувствовал..Фирменные навозные нотки, которые присутствуют в шенах от менку остались)

Отличный образец влажного тайваньского хранения. Так и не скажешь, что сырьё родом из северной части Юньнани.

Аромат плотный, густой, с явной нотой "чэнь сян" - выдержанности. В ней есть корешок старой книги, древесина и - мне показалось - папина кожаная куртка 80-х годов =)

Вкус ровный, но можно поиграть с длительностью настаивания: будет либо сладким и мягким, либо густым и резким. Курага и красный апельсин с характерной вяжущей кислинкой. Цитрусовое послевкусие сохраняется и через полчаса после чаепития.

В моём случае чаепитие было не очень внимательным и сопровождало общение. Даже при этом состояние изменилось в сторону собранности и фокусировки, мысль не разлеталась и не терялась.

Заваривал 10 г в 120 мл чайнике из звонкой и относительно тонкой исинской глины.
