«Xiao Ye» is a green tea of Guangdong province. It was made in the tea farm of Hemi (Jieyang District) in April 2018 from the spring shoots of Xiao Ye (Small-leaved) tea variety.
In appearance: small spiral of olive-gray and bluish tips. The fragrance is deep, herbaceous with biscuit note. The liquor is transparent, with yellow-green shade.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is fresh and light, herbaceous with nutty accent. The fragrance is tender, of summer meadow tonality. The taste is full-bodied and oily, sweetish, with fine berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (80-90°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 3 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 3-5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8 times.
«Xiao Ye» is a right choice for daily tea breaks – mild, refreshing, soft tonic.
