«Tai Ping Hou Kui» is one of best Chinese tea, known from the beginning of XX century when tea farmer Wang Kuicheng from Hou Ken village produced it for the first time. Delightful tea got a prize at the Nanjin Fair in 1912 as the best tea of the year. Since then, this tea many times won Chinese and international tea contests. «Xingcong Tai Ping» is made of spring tea shoots (March 2017) in a small tea farm in Xingcong village (Huangshan County, Anhui province).
In appearance: large (9-11 cm), flat tea shoots of green colour. The aroma is fresh, herbal-floral with a biscuit note. The liquor is transparent, light greenish colour.
The brewed tea has fresh, airy, herbal bouquet. The aroma is high, airy, herbal-floral. The taste is fresh, juicy, full-bodied, sweetish, with tender tartness, transforming into refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (80°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 7-8 times.
«Xingcong Tai Ping» is a good choice for summertime tea breaks – quenching thirst, uplifting and revitalizing.
