"Emerald Lake - Wirling Snow" was made in the Mendinshan mountains in Sichuan province at the end of March 2017, and flavoured with fresh flowers of jasmine.
In the dry form, these are tiny thin spirals of silvery-green fluffy buds mixed with jasmine flowers. The fragrance is fresh, herbal-floral. The infusion is transparent and has a very light golden-green hue.
The bouquet of ready tea is delicate, ethereal, floral with herbal and spicy notes. The aroma is delightful and dazzling, jasmine. The taste is fresh, refined, oily, minty-cool, slightly sweetish with a refreshing, subtle bitter nuance and minty aftertaste.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (70-80°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or in glass tea ware. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 7-8 times.
"Emerald Lake – Wirling Snow" is a good choice for plenty of situations and moods – refreshing, optimistic and romantic. According to the existing tradition, the best effect of it can be achieved in a cloudy, wet and rainy weather. But it is also magnificent in the summer heat.
