Tea from high mountain valley Solokh Aul (Krasnodar region, Russia) - one of the northern tea gardens of the world with 200 years history. Due to the colder climate tea leaves in the north ripen for significantly longer periods comparing to the south, but this very pecularity gives a lot of obvious advantages such as high content of aromatic etheric oils and other healthful substances.
When dry these are very big long dark-brown needles of rolled tea leaves with thin stems and moderate fruity woody fragrance. This tea gives transparent infusion of light hazelnut colour.
When done ready it has a finely delicate floral-fruity bouquet with spicy, citrus, mapletree and balsamic notes. The taste is light and fine, silky smooth, rich and juicy with distinct lemon sour note and spicy scent. Poignant floral-fruity fragrance. Pleasant refreshing aftertaste.
Preparation: with boiling water (95-100°С) in a ceramic pot of unglazed clay for red teas, or in a gaiwan. Proportion of tea to water: 10-12 g to 100 ml. Use the leaves several times (up to 12-15 circles) gradually extending the steeping period.
Excellent tea for ceremonies for connoisseurs of fine tastes and states. It warms up the body, calms down the mind, brings in feeling of harmony and peace.
