«Krasnodar Gaba Shu 4.0» is an experimental tea made in Khosta region from local tea cultivars (harvest 2021) using the Shu Puer «wodui» technology combined with an additional cycle of vacuum fermentation.
In appearance: medium sized curved flagella of dark brown leaves and buds, thin cuttings and sticky lumps of «chatou». The aroma is deep and intense, with notes of toasted bread and spicy herbs. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of dark amber.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature and multifaceted, with notes of wood resin, toast, vanilla, herbs, baked chestnuts and dried fruit. The aroma is intense and warm, complex. The taste is rich, velvety and sweetish, a bit astringent, with a subtle bitterness of cocoa beans and a long aftertaste.
Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.
«Krasnodar Gaba Shu 4.0» is an excellent example of a highly fermented tea with a multifaceted taste and a tangible tonic effect. It is especially recommended for those who love technological experiments in the field of shu pu-erh production.
