«Zhouli Hong Cha» is the red tea from Zhouli farm (Wuyi County, Fujian Province). Harvest: Mау 2018.
In appearance: thin flagellum of twisted tips – dark brown with light yellow-reddish fuzz. The fragrance is intensive, fruity with biscuit accent. The liquor is transparent with dark amber hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is graceful and warm, fruity, with biscuit, woody, honey, floral and citrus notes. The fragrance is warm and complex, fruity; cold fragrance is sweet, honey. The taste is refined and silky, sweetish, with delicate fruity tartness, citrus sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
