"Chinese Red" tea is made in the Fengqing County mountains in the Northwest tea region. Spring shoots of Yunnan large-leaved tea trees growing at the altitude of 2100 m were taken for this grade.
In the dry form it has long, plain, dark brown flagella twisted leaves. The aroma of dry tea is rich, fruity and spicy. The brew is transparent, with light brown tone.
The bouquet of a brewed tea is subtle, warm, complicated, fruity and woody, with cherry, biscuit, chocolate, spice and citrus notes. The taste is subtle, dense, voluminous, juicy, silky, sweet, slightly tart, with bright fruit acidity. The aroma is thick, deep, fruity and spicy. Juicy, long and memorable aftertaste.
Brew it with boiling water under 100 ° C in a ceramic gaiwan or in an adobe clay teapot for red teas. Proportion of tea to water: 6 g to 100 ml. Drink it after a quick brew slowly increasing the exposure. Holds up to 9 brews.
Lovely ceremonial tea - both sophisticated and vibrant, full of volume. The effect is warming and tonic. Perfectly gathers attention and brings up a good taste.
