"Guizhou Hong Cha" is the red tea from Guizhou province, harvest 2022.
In appearance: long, twisted dark-brown leaves. The aroma is restrained, woody-herbaceous with fruity hints. The infusion is transparent, with an amber shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is smooth, woody with herbaceous and fruity notes. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity-herbaceous. The taste is mellow, sweetish, with a fruity sourness and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay (this tea needs a high temperature to brew properly). The proportion is 6-8 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 20 seconds. Then do short steeps (10 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 6 times.
"Guizhou Hong Cha" is a great choice for daily tea breaks.
