"Red Oolong" was made of the autumn shoots of Taiwanese Oolong cultivar planted in Lincang County (North-West of Yunnan Province) in the autumn of 2017. During processing, tea leaves were exposed to deep fermentation and moderate heat.
In appearance: medium size flagella of twisted leaves dark burgundy-brown colour. The aroma is intensive, with fruity and spicy hints. The liquor is transparent, chestnut color.
The brewed tea has bright, warm fruity-biscuit bouquet with woody and berry hints. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity-floral. The taste is juicy and smooth, silky, a bit tart, with delicate berry acidity and spicy nuances, transforming into refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 7 times.
