Sundried Tea "Red Plum from Jiuqu River" is made of the very first spring tea shoots (harvest 2017) of Longjing tea variety in Hangzhou district (Zhejiang province).
In appearance: small, thin flagella of purple-brown leaves. The aroma is intensive, berry-herbal. The infusion is transparent, hazelnut color.
The brewed tea has warm, bright bouquet with notes of berries, wood, spices, biscuits and citrus. The aroma is warm and profound. The taste is saturated and smooth, velvety, sweetish, a bit tart, with tender acidity, transforming into sappy finish.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent brewing, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8-9 times.
