“Xi Ye Wuyi Hong Cha” is a premium red tea, harvest 2021, from Wuyishan tea region (Fujian province).
In appearance: thin dark brown flagella of twisted buds with reddish hair. The aroma is warm, woody-herbaceous with notes of dried fruits. The infusion is transparent, with an amber shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is multifaceted, woody-herbaceous, with biscuit, citrus, caramel, chocolate and berry notes. The aroma is deep and warm, complex, fruity-herbaceous. The taste is rich, juicy, sweetish, pleasantly astringent, with a light chocolate bitterness and citrus sourness - it changes greatly during the tea drinking, turns into a stable, refreshing aftertaste.
Steep the tea in hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.
