«Honey-floral Jin Jun Mei» is made in May 2019 from the first spring tips in Fujian Province.
In appearance: curved, brown tips with thin yellow-reddish fuzz. The fragrance is intensive, floral with biscuit accent. The liquor is transparent with meadow honey hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is graceful and warm, honey-floral, with biscuit, fruity and citrus notes. The fragrance is warm and gentle, floral with honey accent. The taste is refined and silky, sweetish, with delicate citrus sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (85-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
