"Wild Red Tea from Jinxiu" is made of the very first spring purple tea shoots (harvest 2017) in Fengqing County (North-west tea region of Yunnan Province).
Dry leaf: large, lengthwise twisted, dark purple leaves. The aroma is restrained, fruity-herbal. The infusion is transparent, saturated olive-green color.
The brewed tea has warm, fruity-herbal bouquet with woody, biscuit and citrus notes. The aroma is tender and warm, fruity. The taste is soft and gentle, sweet, with juicy, lemon acidity, transforming into velvety aftertaste.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot for red tea made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that do short brews (just for a few seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent brewing, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
"Wild Red Tea from Jinxiu" is Original red tea with a soft, gentle taste and warming, moderately tonic effect. Recommended for connoisseurs of red varieties, as well as fans of Purple Sheng.
