Red tea «Wuyi Jin Jun Mei» («Golden eyebrows») was made in Wuyi Mountains (Fujian province) in the spring of 2020.
In appearance: medium-sized, reddish-brown, flagellum twisted tips. The fragrance is intensive, woody-and-berry. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of yellow ocher.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm and vivid, woody-and-berry, with citrus, honey and spicy notes. The aroma is warm and tender, multifaceted, lemon-biscuit. The taste is refined and full-bodied, oily, slightly astringent, with lemon acidity, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
Red tea «Wuyi Jin Jun Mei» is an excellent choice for the gongfucha style: refined, versatile and very fragrant.
