«Yue Guang Bai» or «White Moonlight» is made of Yue Guang Bai tea variety spring tea shoots (harvest 2017) collected and processed in Jinggu Mountains (Puer County). During the processing it was exposed to light fermentation («Fa Jiao»).
In the dry form: large, orange-beige, fleecy buds and large, curved flagella of brown leaves with long thin cuttings. The aroma is delicate, woody-balsamic with dry fruits hints. The infusion is transparent, hazelnut color.
The brewed tea has rich, warm flavor with hints of flowers, bread, dried fruits and wood resins. The aroma is warm, soothing, lemon-fruity. The taste is juicy, sliding, sweetish, with light berry sourness, transforming into pleasant, refreshing aftertaste.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that just rinse water through teapot or gaiwan, increasing the exposure of each next infusion. You can repeat this brewing method up to 9 times.
Great choice for everyday tea breaks - bright and friendly, with juicy flavor and warming, mild tonic effect.
