White Pu'er "Generosity of Phoenix - Silver Fluff" was harvested and prepared from spring teatree shoots of the grade Qyao Mu (growing in county Fencin of the North-West tea region) at Sin Yuy factory in 2008.
500 g teacakes, not tightly pressed, easily broken by fingers into big silky pearl buds and rolled silvery-brown leaves. The dry tea fragrance is subtle, balsamic with a spicy note. The infusion is transparent and has a yellowish-mustard colour.
The bouquet of ready tea is rich, multi-layered, woody-balsamic with nuances of linen seeds, honey, raspberry leaves and spicy herbs. The taste-scent profile has a lot os similarities with a good quality old Shen. The taste is soothing, intense, luscious, multi-layered, silky and cool, when highly concentrated - pleasantly astringent with a light note of sourness, gradually opening up. The fragrance is intense, floral-spicy with fruity nuances. A long rich aftertaste.
Preparation: with boiling hot (95-100°С) water in a gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay for white Pu'ers. The proportion is 5 - 6 g to 100 ml of water. Use "pouring brewing method" (pouring hot water through leaves gradually extending exposure time). The leaves can last for 10 brews.
This is an excellent choice for everyday tea party: soothing rich taste, refreshing effect and high potential for further storage and development.
