“Yesheng Dan Ya” (“Buds of wild tea”) from Fengqing County. Harvest: spring of 2020.
In appearance: long buds covered with silvery pearl fluff. The aroma is intensive, spicy-floral. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh, floral-herbaceous, with woody and berry notes. The aroma is sweet and tender, berry-floral. The taste is refined and full-bodied, oily, sweetish, with a slight woody astringency, sourness of forest raspberries and chill of mint, turning into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15-20 seconds. After that do short steeps (for 5-10 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
