This is “Green” (“Lui Se”) puer from “Fu Gui Ji Xiang” series. “Fu Gui Ji Xiang” is the Chinese traditional wish of “Wealth and Fortune”. The series includes the Green “Fu” (Galore) cha bing, the Orange “Gui” (Wealth), the Blue “Ji” (Happiness) and the Red “Xiang” (Fortune). This tea was compressed in February 2006 at the tea plant in Jinghong region. The raw material consists of old puer tea trees leaves and buds that was harvested on the Laobanzhang Mountain.
Dry cha bing, tea cake (250 gr), is fine compressed and easily crushed. Tea cake consists of medium size dark brown twisted leaves, beige buds and thin stems. The aroma of dried tea is delicate, smooth with fruity and camphor tones. The clear infusion has a nutty red tint.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mellow, soft with nutty and fruity tones. The taste is rich, smooth, with slight dried fruits, wooden moss and camphor tones. Tea taste releases gradually. Slight mushroom tones appear by the end of the tea time. The bitterness and astringency are very slight. The aroma is mellow, smooth with delicate floral and fruity tones. The aftertaste is pure and refreshing.
Fu Gui Ji Xiang Lui Se is brewed with 95-100°С water in yixing teapot for raw puers or in gaiwan. Take 4-5 gr for 100ml vessel. Shed tea with water, make quick infusions (2-3 seconds) and gradually increase the brewing time with each next infusion. Brew this way 10-12 times.
That is an excellent raw puer with rich taste and soft meditative effect. It gives mild energy, relaxes the tension, and at the same time provides active, constructive mind state and clear thinking.
