Sheng Puer rammed into a segment of a bamboo stem. Made in 2017 in Wenshan County, Yunnan Province. Bamboo stem is a traditional way of storing tea among small peoples of the province.
The average weight of one bamboo stalk is 180 g. Inside the stalk: tightly pressed, brown tea leaves and hairy buds. The aroma is restrained, woody with a spicy hint. The infusion is transparent, with a pink hue.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is vivid, multifaceted, woody, with hints of spicy herbs, citrus, meadow flowers and baked chestnuts. The aroma is deep, fruity and spicy. The taste is rich and astringent, slightly sweet, with berry sourness and spicy nuances.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9-10 times.
