«Bangdong Sheng Cha» («Sheng Puer from Bangdong Mountains») was made in a small tea farm situated in Lincang County. Spring harvest of 2019.
In appearance: large, brown, flagellum-twisted leaves and buds with long cuttings. The aroma is intensive, spicy-floral. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh and vivid, spicy-floral, with balsamic, woody and nutty notes. The aroma is tender, spicy-floral. The taste is rich and smooth, buttery, sweetish, with a delicate tartness of grapes, berry sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (75-80°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
«Bangdong Sheng Cha» is an excellent young sheng – tasty, fragrant and invigorating, very promising in terms of long-term storage and development.
