"Small Tea Trees of Yiwu Mountains" is made of the very first spring tea shoots, collected in Yiwu Mountains in 2017. The Yiwu are the largest and oldest among Xishuangbanna Tea Mountains.
In appearance: large, twisted, grey and brown leaves with long stems and beige buds. The aroma is restrained, woody-herbal. The infusion is transparent, white grapes colour.
The bouquet of brewed tea is vivid and bright, woody-herbal with nutty, wild mushrooms and balsamic notes. The aroma is calm, woody-herbal. The taste is juicy, full-bodied, smooth, with delicate tartness and spicy nuances, transforming into refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (80-95°C – the lower the temperature, the softer the taste) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8 times.
