"Xingfuwei" ("Scent of Xingfu") made from the very first spring shoots of the ancient tea trees grown in Xingfu region (Lincang county), harvest 2020.
In appearance: long, twisted brown leaves and buds with a slight downy. The aroma is restrained, woody-balsamic with a mushroom note. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh and vibrant, woody-balsamic, with floral, mushroom, spicy, nutty and berry notes. The aroma is delicate, complex, woody-balsamic. The taste is full-bodied and oily, slightly astringent, sweetish, with berry sourness, minty chill and juicy finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 7-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
