“Golden melody” is produced by Pu Wen Tea Factory, one of the oldest in Xishuangbanna. The Factory owns 650 hectares of high altitude tea plantations in the Zhi Wu Wang Go (“The kingdom of plants”) natural reserve in the Jing Hong district. This place is the legendary motherland of large tea trees. Tea cake is produced by brand “Yun Ya”, “Foggy Tips” from the organic raw material (as it proved by many certificates and signs on the package) in 18 November 2012.
The tea cake weights 400 grams. It is lightly pressed and easily divided into small twisted dark-brown leaves, fragments and a bit of small stems. The aroma of dried tea is quiet, woody, corny with fruity tint. The clear liquor is bright red-brown.
The bouquet of the brewed tea is bright, round, nutty, berry with oak moss, spices, rustic bread and chocolate hints. The taste is dense, rich, mild with a bit astringency that turns into fruity, woody and corny overtones, also some sweetness and light sour nuance come. The aroma is warm, quiet, balsamic, sweet. The velvet aftertaste is very nice.
Jin Yun is brewed by 95-100°С hot water in the yixing tea pot for ripe puers or in the ceramic gaiwan. Take 6-7 grams for 100 ml vessel. Rinse tea leaves with hot water, make short infusions and increase the infusion time gradually. The tea goes 8-9 infusions.
It is an excellent ceremonial ripe puer. It has complex, bright taste and warming, tonic effect.
