“Tea from Baise” is produced in the north-west of Yunnan province (Dali district). The raw material was harvested in 2006 in Guangxi-Zhuang autonomous area, when glut of puer production happened. Due to high puer demand the producers used the raw material harvested in the neighboring regions.
The dried tea consists of medium size rolled dark brown leaves and red buds The aroma is warm, mature, nutty and berry. The liquor has chestnut tint.
The bouquet of brewed tea is warm, mature, round, with nutty, berry tones and ginger, chocolate and corny hints. There is no any “dusty” puer tone. The rich aroma is fruity, corny and sweetish. The taste is very mild, silky, rich, perfectly balanced, with tone of dark chocolate that turns into long lasting, rich, velvet aftertaste.
This tea is brewed with 95-100°С water in the yixing teapot for ripe puers or in the ceramic gaiwan. Take 6 grams per 100 ml vessel. Rinse tea leaves with water, make short infusions (just for a second) and increase the infusion time gradually.
This is gorgeous ripe puer, that should be in the tea collection for some special occasion. It is long lasting, strong and really wonderful tea, that makes your day!
