“Old Tea Heads from Bangpeng” is made of tea shoots, collected and processed in Bulanshan Mountais (Menghai County).
In appearance: large agglomerated lumps of small twisted dark brown leaves and yellow-reddish buds. The aroma is mature, nutty with fruity hint. The liquor is transparent, light mahogany color.
The brewed tea has matured, refined nutty bouquet with cognac, herbal and berry notes. The aroma is aged and complex, nutty-balsamic. The taste is mild and refined, sliding, with a delicate bitterness and sourness, transforming into sweet, sappy aftertaste.
Brewing suggestions. Brew tea with hot boiling water (100°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot for Ripe Pu'er made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-8 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 20 seconds. After that make 10-12 seconds infusion, increasing the holding time with each subsequent step if necessary. You can repeat this brewing method up to 6-7 times.
