“Medium size Dragon tea nuggets” is the farm tea that is produced in the small tea farm in Menghai. The tea nuggets are naturally formed during the fermentation process of wet stacking. The tea leaves are stuck together into the nuggets that called “zi zhang tou” or “Dragon heads”.
The dry medium size tea nuggets consist of large leaves, stems and buds. The aroma is mellow and nutty. The clear liquor is red-brown.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mellow, warm, nutty with baked potato and corn pone tones. The taste is dense, mild, smooth, sweetish with no astringency or bitterness. The aroma is warm and “rustic”. The aftertaste is very nice and smooth.
“Medium size Dragon tea nuggets” is brewed with 100°С water in yixing teapot for ripe puers or in the thick-walled ceramic gaiwan. Take 7-8 gr for 100ml vessel. Steep it for 20 seconds for the first time and after infuse quick just for a few seconds. Increase the infusion time gradually. Brew this way 10-12 times. It is very nice to boil tea with milk (take 5 grams for 500 ml of liquid).
This is a natural mild energy drink for an everyday tea time. It is easy to brew this tea and it has a nice smooth taste and heating, meditative effect.
