Shu Puer «Large trees of Lao Man E: sweet taste» was fermented by special order of the Moychay.ru company from mao cha of autumn harvest 2017. The village of Lao Man E, surrounded by centuries-old tea trees (Bulangshan Mountains, Menghai County) is a cult place among pueur lovers.
In appearance: large dark brown twisted leaves and buds with long, thin cuttings. The aroma is mature, nutty. The infusion is transparent with chestnut hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, nutty with bakery, cherry and autumnal notes. The aroma is warm and deep, nutty. The taste is rich and velvety, sweetish, with light sourness of dried berries. The aftertaste is long and sappy.
Brew tea with hot water (95-100°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 15 times.
