Shu puer «Da Chatou» («Big Tea Heads») made in Menghai County, harvest 2017.
In appearance: large, chocolate-brown lumps of tightly pressed fragments of tea leaves and buds. The aroma is restrained, woody with a nutty accent. The infusion is slightly cloudy, reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, nutty-and-woody with notes of rustic bread, baked chestnuts and dried fruits. The aroma is deep and warm, nutty with a fruity accent. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, velvety, sweetish, with a slight woody tartness.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 8-10 g per 100 ml. Brew with an exposure of 20-30 seconds, gradually increasing the exposure time to 2-3 minutes. You can steep the tea up to 12 times. Ideal for boiling or brewing in a thermos.
Shu puer «Da Chatou» is an excellent choice for everyday tea breaks – soft and fragrant, warming.
