Shu Puer «Ancient trees of Mengwang» was fermented by special order of the Moychay.ru company from the mao cha of spring harvest 2017.
In appearance: medium-sized reddish buds and dark brown twisted leaves with thin cuttings. The aroma is mature, nutty. The infusion is transparent with red-chestnut hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is mature, nutty with notes of wood, dried berries and spice. The aroma is warm and deep, nutty. The taste is rich and smooth, velvety, sweetish, with light sourness and a touch of spice, gradually opens juiciness and depth. The aftertaste is long, velvety.
Brew tea with hot water (95-100°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 12 times.
