Ripe Puer «Bangdong Mountain» was made in a small tea farm in Lincang County (harvest 2017).
In appearance: medium sized, light, dark brown flagella of twisted leaves. The fragrance is restrained, with nutty and woody hints. The infusion is dark reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is mature, with nutty, woody, pastry and autumn notes. The fragrance is warm and deep, woody with nutty touch. The taste is full-bodied and soft, velvety, sweetish, with delicate fruit sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
Ripe Puer «Bangdong Mountain» is a right choice for daily tea breaks. Its effect is warming, moderately tonic. In a low concentration it is perfect as a relaxing evening tea.
