“Wawi Yesheng” was made in Wawi village, Changrai district (850 m altitude) from the spring shoots of wild tea trees. Harvest: 2022.
In appearance: long, thin, twisted tea shoots. The aroma is restrained, floral-herbaceous. The infusion is transparent, with a grape shade.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is fresh, floral-herbaceous with nutty and woody notes. The aroma is intense, spicy-herbaceous. The taste is full-bodied and mellow, oily, sweetish, with a slight woody tartness, apple sourness and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (85-92°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15 seconds. Then do short steeps (3-5 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
"Wawi Yesheng" is a great choice for those looking for a strong Puer with mild and buttery taste.
