Fennel (Foenīculum) is a plurannual spice-aromatic flowering plant from the carrot family (Apiaceae). Seeds are picked and prepared in Crimea, summer 2015.
Whole or ground fennel seeds are widely used in world cuisine to flavor a variety of dishes. In traditional medicine it is used as a treatment of flatulence, intestinal tract excitation and enterospasms, an expectorant for bronchitis and pneumonia, as well as a remedy to normalize digestion, improve liver and pancreas.
Instructions for use: put 5-10 g of dry seeds in a thermos, fill it with boiled water (200 mL) and draw 10-15 minutes. You can drink it brewed as a tea, after a quick infusion, it can also be taken as an independent drink or in a mix with other herbs.
