Alpine oolong "Aroma of honey Orchid" was made in a small farm in the Wudong peak area in October 2017 (deep fermentation, prolonged baking).
Dry leaf: middle-sized, lengthwise twisted leaves of burgundy-brown color. The aroma is intense, spicy-floral. Infusion is transparent, with golden almond shade.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright, spicy-floral, with notes of honey, currant, rye bread, grapefruit and clove. The taste is full-bodied and sappy, pleasantly tart, with nuances of citrus and spices, transforming into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
Alpine oolong "Aroma of honey Orchid " is an excellent choice for both everyday and ceremonial tea drinking – bright, invigorating and fragrant.
