«Huang Zhi Xiang Mature Flavor» is made of spring tea shoots (harvest 2007) collected in the alpine Wudong peak area (Phoenix Mountain, Chaozhou County). During the processing it was exposed to deep fermentation and baked on charcoal in traditional style.
In appearance: large flagella of twisted leaves dark purple-brown color. The aroma is sweet, floral. The infusion is transparent, mahogany hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is elegant, complex, spicy-floral with notes of berries, camphor and citrus. The aroma is delightful, mature and complex, spicy-floral. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, silky sweet, minty cool, with a grapes tartness and pomegranate sourness, transforming into lingering finish.
Brew this tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot for chaozhou oolongs of porous clay. The proportion is 3-4 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 6-8 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 10 times.
Aged «Huang Zhi Xiang Flavor» is an excellent ceremonial tea for those connoisseurs and gourmets who want to sip on something extra special.
