Aged oolong «Shan Gan» («Mountain sweetness») from Fenghuangshan (Chaozhou county, Guangdong province).
In appearance: thin, burgundy-brown flagella of twisted leaves. The fragrance is intensive, woody with an earthy accent. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of mahogany.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is mature and multifaceted, woody-balsamic, with milky, berry, spicy and earthy notes. The aroma is subtle, complex, woody. The taste is refined and full-bodied, with fruity sweetness, woody tartness, fine berry sourness, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 15 times.
Aged oolong «Shan Gan» is an interesting aged oolong for collectors and true lovers of Lao cha.
