Oolong «Xinrenxiang» («Almond fragrance») from Wudong peak (Chaozhou county, Guangdong province). Harvest: Spring 2018. Final baking (Kao Ho): Winter 2018.
In appearance: slim, curved, burgundy-brown flagella of twisted leaves. The fragrance is intensive, berry-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is exquisite, spicy-floral, with notes of almond, exotic wood resins, vanilla, candied fruit and fresh berries. The aroma is tender, berry-floral. The taste is refined and full-bodied, silky, sweetish, with a pleasant tartness, fine berry sourness, spicy nuances and long, marzipan aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
