Alpine Oolong «Alishan Gaoshan Qing Xiang» is made from the first spring tea shoots of Oolong cultivar harvested in Alishan nature reserve (central Taiwan) by the qing xiang technology (light fermentation, soft fire).
In appearance: medium-sized, glossy, bluish-green pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is intensive, floral-herbaceous. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh and exquisite, floral-herbaceous, with nutty, berry and spicy notes. The aroma is delightful and tender, floral-herbaceous. The taste is sweet, soft and smooth, buttery, with a delicate tartness of grapes, fruity sourness, and long, refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (80-90°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 6-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 15 times.
