Alpine oolong «Gocai» was made in September 2018 in Alishan mountains (central Taiwan) by qingxiang technology (light fermentation).
In appearance: large, heavy, glossy, bluish green pellets of twisted tea shoots. The fragrance is intensive, sweet, spicy-herbaceous. The liquor is transparent, with greenish-yellow hue.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is vivid and bright, spicy-herbaceous, with floral, fruity and nutty hints. The fragrance is deep and sweet, spicy-floral with a hint of nuts. The taste is rich and full-bodied, oily, sweetish, with delicate fruity sourness, spicy nuances and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (90°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
Alishan oolong «Gocai» is a great choice for a tea party: bright, elegant, relaxing.
