Alpine oolong «Autumnal turquoise tea» was made in September 2018 in Alishan mountains (central Taiwan) from Oolong cultivar by qingxiang technology (light fermentation, warming up at relatively low temperatures).
In appearance: large, heavy, olive-green pellets of twisted tea shoots. The fragrance is intensive, high, spicy-floral. The liquor is transparent, with yellow hue.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is bright and multifaceted, floral-herbaceous with woody, fruity and spicy notes. The fragrance is high and sweet, delightful. The taste is rich and full-bodied, oily, sweetish, with delicate woody sourness, spicy and fruity nuances, shimmering in different shades, turning into lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot water (80-95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
«Autumnal turquoise tea from Alishan» is a magnificent high-mountain oolong –bright and multifaceted. The effect is soft tonic, optimistic.
