Alpine oolong «Jin Xuan Peihuo» was made in September 2018 in Alishan mountains (central Taiwan) from Jin Xuan cultivar by traditional technology (medium degree of fermentation, prolonged warming up on charcoal at relatively low temperatures).
In appearance: large, heavy, olive-brown pellets of twisted tea shoots. The fragrance is intensive, sweet, spicy with nutty accent. The liquor is transparent, with yellow hue.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is bright, warm and multifaceted, with floral, herbaceous, woody, fruity and nutty notes. The fragrance is warm and sweet, with a hint of baked nuts. The taste is rich and full-bodied, sweet, with delicate sourness, spicy and fruity nuances.
Brew tea with hot water (90-95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
«Jin Xuan Peihuo» is a great choice for a tea party: multifaceted, warm, relaxing.
